Trio Solutions was selected as the official CreateAthon® agency for the Lowcountry. Although CreateAthon is in its tenth year nationally, this will be the first year this event has been available to Lowcountry nonprofits. For 24 hours, from 8 a.m. on Thursday, September 13 until 8 a.m. on Friday, September 14, every member of our staff will work on pro-bono projects for several nonprofit organizations in our area. During that time, we will complete 15 projects for five organizations. All of our time will be donated.
Congratulations to this year’s CreateAthon recipients:
LOVE Inc.
My Sister’s House
Teacher’s Supply Closet
Lowcountry Earth Force
Berkeley County Foundation of Volunteers for the SC Guardian Ad Litem Program

The war room… Who will be the first to crack and take a nap in the tent?
September 13th, 2007 at 2:09 pm
I think it’s worth noting that this is actually more than 24 hours! 8 a.m. to noon on Friday is 28! The comments should get really good around 3 a.m.
A special shout out to our friends at Little Dog Agency for dropping off the cupcakes!
September 13th, 2007 at 2:31 pm
I have completed my first two tasks! YAY! The copy for Teacher’s Supply Closet and My Sister’s House Web sites has been collected and is off to the proof reader.
September 13th, 2007 at 2:39 pm
Hats off to the great Trio Solutions team for your hard work and fun outlook on this endeavor. You may already know this but many of these nonprofits would not be here it if were not for your efforts. The reality is that most of their accomplishments are possible due to events like this. Thanks for your ongoing commitment to making your community a success. Good luck!

One down, three to go …
September 13th, 2007 at 3:48 pm
Did you guys hear that Kersey had a run-in with the spray tan truck? Doesn’t she look dark and lovely?
September 13th, 2007 at 3:55 pm
No run in with the spray truck, this was intentional. This intense spray tan, better known as the “cocktail tan”, is sure to make me a bronzed beauty in Las Vegas this weekend! I am glad that I am here to give the office a good laugh today. No one seems to be able to take me seriously. Is it becuase I look like I just got back from an extended stay in Miami??? Gotta love being tan….
September 13th, 2007 at 6:26 pm

September 13th, 2007 at 9:13 pm
Teacher’s Supply Closet Web site is nearly done! Through the miracles of modern technology, we have taken a process that normally takes weeks and compressed it to mere hours! I am certainly impressed with all the work that Nicole, Jessica K., Krista, Jessica M. and Brian D. have done to pull this off in such a short period of time. You guys are awesome!
We just finished up with some pizza from Orlando’s on Daniel Island, so we’re fueled up and ready to take on the night. More logos, brochures, and marketing plans yet to come.
September 13th, 2007 at 9:25 pm

September 13th, 2007 at 10:57 pm
Hello all!
We are working in the amazing suite that our office is… and Robyn is playing some sad music that makes me want to crawl under a rock. But - we are excited to be working with TRIO for the Create-a-thon! Our posters are looking good!! We put a little sizzle in them - that’s what the man at a french restaurant told us we should consider when designing.
Always ask yourself… where’s the sizzle?
Haha… I’m gonna go eat a sandwich now.
September 13th, 2007 at 11:01 pm
Ok, so I should have read Nicole’s thread before I ate the cupcake. I look like an oversized smurf. It was good though!!
September 13th, 2007 at 11:04 pm
Two down, one to go … My Sister’s House Web site
September 13th, 2007 at 11:27 pm
Bird here reporting to you from Charlotte, NC. I didn’t think Grandma was going to make it as I HATE driving in inclement weather. But I have arrived and am happy to report that I have showered and am still looking tan and beautiful! I’ll be blogging from the Vegas strip in approximately 12 hours….
I miss you guys and am so proud of you for all of the work you have done. My Sister’s House looks so good! Everything does and I can’t be more proud to say I work at Trio.
Please tell Lucy that she looks the most beautiful I have ever seen her. She and Rocco are now tied as my favorite dogs (other than Lucky of course).
September 14th, 2007 at 12:17 am
JK, you are a superstar! Your “cocktail tan” was glowing on the 11 o’clock news. Glad to hear you made it to Charlotte safely. Have fun in Vegas. We’ll have your pole polished for you when you return. Can’t wait to see your new moves.
September 14th, 2007 at 12:25 am
