		<description>Yep, I think it goes further than that though.  The exercise of figuring out who your website's target audience is, is basically a microcosm of the company deciding who it's core customer's are and then the argument to specialize or not specialize in any direction.  The reality is most of the time that same client will take just about any work or sell just about any widget that somebody is likely to buy.  So keeping things wide open, hence the "everyone is a target audience," is safe to them... and safety is the feeling we all crave.  

You hit the nail on the head, it's all about fear... why not be brave instead?</description>
