2008 CreateAthon is underway!
Trio Solutions is proud to be kicking off our annual CreateAthon project to benefit some of the Lowcountry’s most important nonprofits. We will be offering free marketing services to five local organizations who have little or no marketing budgets during a 24-hour, work around-the-clock creative blitz. This year’s projects include two Web sites, one logo, one communications plan and the design of a fundraising coupon book. All hands are on deck and we’re ready roll!
Congratulations to the 2008 CreateAthon beneficiaries:
Camp Good Times
Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy
Family Resource Center for Disabilities and Special Needs
Fields to Families
Lowcountry Environmental Education Programs (LEEP)
And many thanks to the 2008 CreateAthon team:
Brad Caricofe
Jennifer Cherock
Brian Dadin

The Trio team is thrilled be supporting such worthwhile causes and we can’t wait to see what we come up with throughout the day and night!

Good morning CreateAthon team! You all are doing wonderful work for these nonprofits. I can’t wait to stop by after work!
Hoooray CreateAthon! Good morning to all…
As the not-quite-as-busy member of the Trio team today, I will be doing my best to provide caffeine and entertainment to the rest of the gang. Nancy has done a superb job of putting some pizazz into the office to help the creative juices flow. Part of this pizazz includes supplying ‘Loaded Questions’ cards from a board game. Don’t be surprised to see a few of these questions pop up throughout the day/night. I expect participation here, kids. No need to raise your hands. First question.. and we’ll start easy.. What do you consider the worst household chore?
@ Jordan’s question – answer: cleaning toilets!
Bathing Lucy…she’s a maniac!
Cleaning toilets and showers, oh and don’t let me forget laundry (specifically folding clothes)!
Hi Y’all!
I just want to say “hey” – I remember what it was like last year…( as one of last year’s recipients of the CreatAthon award) waiting and wondering what would come of the 24 hour blitz. Remember the oyster roast and concert? How could we ever forget??
You are all wonderful to give of your time and creative “wonders”. God Speed and much, much love to all of you!
Laureen
Cheers and many thanks to Dean, Sarah and John from ABC News 4 for coming out to our office and helping to spread the word about this awesome project! You rock and we appreciate the support!!!
Looks like awesome progress has been made on the LEEP coupon book. I love it- great work Roxanne!
We are so excited about Create-A-Thon 2008! I know it is going to be a huge success! We are working on the logos for Family Resource Center and they are looking great and the Camp Good Times website is going to be very fun and interactive! YEAH!!!!
I want to see some pictures!!! Someone better be ready to snap mine when I arrive with my glowing tan this afternoon…
Is it a “cocktail tan” like the one you had last year at CreateAthon? You were so very dark n’ lovely, Bird.
The ideal CreateAthon environment – 10 day old baby boy lying on the bed, Y&R on the tube, laptop for content creation and cleaning ladies scrubbing my toilets
Hello everyone!!
We are all excited to how things are going!! We cant wait to see the project!!
Heading out to go do what I love- hostessing! Looking forward to joining back in on the fun tonight. Question number 2: If you could be a spokesperson for any product, which would you choose?
Me- Kraft Macaroni & Cheese. I could sell that stuff to the pine tree outside my window.
Keep up the great work everybody. I hope to not stumble upon anybody in a sleeping bag when I return…
DARK chocolate. Keep in mind that chocolate with at least 70% cocoa content is healthy and delicious at the same time;)
I’m sure your night will be full of “good times…” and macaroni and cheese with dark chocolate? Yum!
Many thanks from Camp Good Times for your generosity and knowledge in creating us an amazing site!! Can’t wait to see it Monday!

I just saw the gang at CreateAthon team and got a sneak peak of some of the work. It all looks AWESOME!!! And the team is in full effect. After finishing some pizza, they were ready to go back to work. Good luck CreateAthoners!!!!
Making our way through Camp Good Times content…Family Resources Center logo review coming up next!
If I could be a spokesperson for any product it would have to be Ben and Jerry’s Half Baked Ice Cream. I should have bought stock in that. I ate enough during my pregnancy.
Working on the marketing plan for CCC now!
Love the work on the LEEP Coupon Book!
Thanks for all that you do!
Okay! Just about ready to load content to the new Fields to Families site! It looks sooooo good. Great job on the design, Rox, and your techmology and promgramming skillz are on point, B-Rad!
Just touched base with the guys at camp Trio and they are working away! Content is being loaded to the Web sites as I type… For now I am going to take a “nap”;) I am so happy to be working with such talented, hard-working and dedicated team! You guys ROCK! Can’t wait to see the finished products.
Alright ladies and gents- This office is getting a bit quiet and dull. Maybe just because the music has stopped. Bring back Mr. Franti!
Question number 3… When you look back on pictures of yourself, what age are you most embarrassed about?
Me- 3rd grade class photo says it all. I was very much into the poofy hair, solid color sweatshirts with matching turtle necks. Then throw in some white Keds and leggings, and you’re good to go.
We’re still here…and all smiles!
And as for your last question, Jordan, I was pretty much a disaster from about age 8 to 15. The hair, glasses, braces…and it was the 80s…it was pitiful!
And then there were three…Jen, Rox, and Brad are still holding down the fort. Could use a good neck and back massage right about now! Or maybe some toothpicks for our eyes!
As the Black Eyed Peas would say – keep rollin and rollin’
Good morning all!! I am hoping you are all doing well! I know you are ready for some more coffee!!
Just wanted to say good morning to you!! I know LEEP is ready to see the completed package!!
Thanks so much!!
Good morning, Diana! Wish you could be here with us tomorrow – but we know you’re here in spirit! The LEEP coupon book looks great!
Family Resource Center logos done. We’ve got some great selections for them to review. Making our way through Fields to Families site now. Brad and I are the last soldiers standing…and Lucy, our sweet mascot, of course.
this is jacob you guys are doing a great job
Awwww…thanks, buddy! We loved having you here earlier for pizza and play time! Have a great day at school and we’ll see you soon. Big hugs!
Brad and I got in a big fight tonight – but we just settled it with an old school dance-off and an arm wrestling match. Boooya!
Yep. It’s definiltey time for bed…12 p.m. can’t get here soon enough! We’re officially insane!
Everyone really pulled it off. All the projects look great!

Once everything has been presented to the CreateAthon recipients we will share with the world! Good night. We’re going to bed!
Our back-to-back meetings are about to begin! We’re one sleepy bunch but we’re definitely excited to present our creations! Hopefully we won’t scare anyone…looking a little rough around the edges right now…but still sporting big smiles. All of the projects turned out wonderfully! Great job team!
Bev with Family Resource Center just left she was very happy with the logo that was designed for her organization! Jen is meeting with Fields to Families and Roxanne is meeting with LEEP. Everyone seems very happy!
The projects look WONDERFUL!!! and Jen and Roxanne are counting down the time till they can get some much needed sleep…
Cheers to another successful CreateAthon! I hope everyone at Trio and Cultigraphics gets some much needed rest. And I hope seeing me with a spray tan got you through those long hours last night!!
We’re done!!!! All meetings went well and our clients were thrilled with our work. We’re beat but I think I speak for everyone when I say that it was well worth the time, energy, and hard work. It has been a pleasure working with so many worthwhile nonprofits and we hope that our efforts will help them make a positive impact in the community.
Cheers, much love, high fives, and GOODNIGHT!!!
We are SOOO excited!! The crew at Trio is wonderful. They were patient (even as I struggle with a time impairment) and clever and came up with a unique design for us. It was clear a lot of thought went into their creation and by the looks of the pics (and the posts) a lot of fun too. Thank you all so much, I can’t wait to show the Family Resource Center family your dynamic and creative design. Our community is truly fortunate to have a group who gives so much back. Best Wishes & Warm Regards.
