We just wrapped up one amazing event in Asheville, NC. For the past six months, the TRIO team has been working hard to put together a charity softball event to celebrate the grand opening of Griffin Park, the new softball stadium for the Enka High School Sugar Jets.

We were honored to have worked with two time, Olympic-medalist and softball legend, Jennie Finch. Being six months pregnant, her love for the game and desire to inspire young ladies were quiet apparent. After a red-eye flight from the West Coast, Jennie dedicated 110 percent of herself to our event as we spent more than 12 hours visiting sponsors, speaking to the girls, practicing with them, signing autographs and braving the cold once the sun went down. Her visit to Asheville and the new ballpark was certainly the highlight of the event.

Originally, hoping to sell 200-300 tickets we ended up having to bring in more and more bleachers to final accommodate more than 700 guests. It was truly an amazing event. All proceeds will benefit the YMCA of Western North Carolina and the Enka High School Sugar Jets Booster Club.
